NOTICE FROM MCC
JUNE 2, 2006 FROM: DAVID KRINDLE, Interim Board President
TO: All Manitoba Craft Council Members
When the interim board of MCC was established, on April 23rd, 2006, it was given 90 days to come up with a financial plan to keep MCC going. Negotiations with the province and the bank are ongoing and require a little more time.As a result the members of the interim board have volunteered to stay in place over summer. This should allow enough time to clarify our financial situation.A general meeting of the Manitoba Craft Council membership on Sunday, September 17, 2006, would be a more practical time to elect a new board and begin the process of rebuilding the organization. And, membership dues will addressed at that time.If this delay is unacceptable to you, please let your objections be known before June 15, 2006. If there are a significant number of objections the board will call a meeting for Thursday, June 25, 2006.
