Saturday & Sunday 10:00 am to 6:00 pm June 10 and 11 & September 2 & 32 Great Weekend Adventures in Art: The tour focuses on art and culture in the Interlake communities. Essentially a self-guided tour, visitors can meet artists and artisans for an up close and personal experience in the artist's studio/workshop.
The tour menu features artists accomplished in these fine crafts: pottery, stained glass, lampwork glass jewellery, fibre art, hooked rugs, quilts, photography. Jewellery, influenced by ancient Celtic designs, waterclourpaintings, acrylic and mixed media; and exquisitely designed willow furniture. A luthier who crafts customs-designed guitars and other stringed instruments brings the discipline of music to give another tempo to the tour. There are eclectic galleries that show high caliber art work by a selection of Manitoba artists both local and province wide.CONTACTS: HELMA ROGGE REHDERS EMAIL: hroggere@mts.net ph: 1.204.389.5633
